Message	wheel locks, alarms etc are there as a deterant not a fool proof prevention. The idea is to raise the level of effort & chance of getting caught up high enough that they thief will move on. To me wheel locks make sense since they will keep your avearge ricer w. a lugbar from taking your wheels cause they are easy prey in the mall parking lot.
